How to Make a TikTok with a Green Screen

Do you like making TikTok videos? I think most of us don’t, but it’s a reality of this market. Are you intimidated to try it? Maybe you’re just worried you won’t know what to say? Don’t worry; I’m gonna help you through both of these things today.

Trying something new and unfamiliar can be difficult. There are so many steps along the way, and some of them are unfamiliar and can seem daunting. Thankfully we have assets, such as Keeping Current Matters, to help make us look good, and we don’t have to spend much time doing it. They gather the data, interpret it, make the fancy graphics, and then turn the whole thing into a well-written blog post, so you don’t have to.

Of course you can talk about anything you want in your TikToks. Talk about local events, restaurants, really anything about your community would make great content.

So that covers what to say. Now let's dive in and figure out how to do it.

  1. The first thing you need to do is choose the content that you’re interested in talking about. For today, we will use an article from Keeping Current Matters. Go to that article on your phone, so it’s in vertical format. This will look best for TikTok.

  2. Choose your favorite visual from the article, and take a screenshot of it.

  3. Open up the TikTok app.

  4. Press the plus button at the bottom of the screen.

  5. Choose 60 seconds.

  6. Select “Effects,” then “Green Screen.”

  7. Select “upload,” then choose the screenshots you’d like to use.

  8. Then, hit the big red button, and start talking!

With some patience, persistence, and a little courage, you can overcome your fear of new social media platforms. Try this out and see what kind of results you get!

Till Next Time,
